“Your village needs your help! Work together to collect gems and complete the sequence in the right order. Use your environment wisely and get the biggest score for when the timer ends!”

Bas Haut Bab is a 1-month group project made for the Cœur De Ville en Lumière 2023 Festival in Montpellier. Made with a broad target audience in mind, projection on a building’s façade and short game time, it is still one of our proudest project.

Bas Haut Bab is a 2-player cooperative game where each player is stuck on a different floor. Their goal is to complete “sequences” by giving the right Gems to the right Masks in the right order. Since Masks are at a fixed location on the screen, they need to use the snakes inside of the baobabs on the sides to exchange gems; all in under the 3 minute time-limit.
At the end of the timer, their score is tallied up and compared to the leaderboard, counting the overall number of sequences done as well as how synchronized the players were.
